They’ll want to come again tomorrow

At Latham Outside Hours School Care, we offer vibrant and dynamic care and activities for children on both a permanent and casual basis before and after school during the school term. Our programs are more than just care — they’re a fun-filled environment where children can thrive, explore, and connect.

We partner with families to create a safe, welcoming space where kids can continue to grow, socialise, and have a blast. Our exciting programs focus on making learning fun—helping children develop new skills, forge new friendships, and embark on new adventures every day!

We take pride in being an inclusive centre that celebrates diversity and believes in the incredible potential of inspired children, families, and educators.

Located at Latham Primary School on O’Loghlen Street, our central and convenient location makes it easy for families to access engaging, quality care right in the heart of the community.

Safeguarding children and young people

At The Y Canberra Region safeguarding is embedded in our organisational culture. We are dedicated to providing safe, inclusive environments where children and young people are respected, protected and heard. Our commitment is demonstrated through the implementation of well-defined Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and procedures, ongoing staff training to identify and mitigate risks and a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse or neglect. We actively partner with families and children to ensure they feel empowered to raise concerns with confidence, and we fulfil all legal obligations to report and respond to any matters related to safety or welfare.
