Our Why
Our Y here in the Canberra Region is part of the largest and oldest not-for-profit youth organisation in the world.
When we work at the Y (or the YMCA), we are part of a 12,000+ strong global network of people, with sites and services in over 120 countries.
In 2022, these 120+ countries came together at the 20th YMCA World Council to, for the first time in history, all align on the same vision: to build a better world with and for young people.
We are actively working to align our organisation, sites and services to better serve the youth in our communities across the ACT and NSW regions, listening to young people and acting strategically on what they want and need.
