Leumeah Lodge has everything for your group’s visit to Canberra. With spacious room configurations, we can accommodate groups of up to 300 guests in bunk and hotel-style accommodation.

All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, are individually air conditioned, and are non-smoking.

Supervision of the rooms is made easy with supervisor rooms located among the student rooms.

Our highly skilled catering staff are also here to look after all of your dining needs, providing healthy and nutritious meals and able to cater to dietary requirements.

Accessible Student and Supervisor Rooms

Accessible rooms are available to those who require them. These rooms are accommodated with twin or triple share in motel style rooms.
These rooms have tea and coffee facilities and full amenities including WiFi and TV.

Supervisor Rooms

Supervisors are accommodated in single, twin or triple share in hotel style rooms.
These rooms have tea and coffee facilities and full amenities including WiFi and TV.

Bunk Rooms

Our spacious bunk rooms can sleep up to 8 students with supervisors nearby.
These rooms have all linen supplied and are accessible with a swipe card only.

Coach Driver Rooms

Coach driver rooms are accommodated away from bunk rooms in single queen room accommodation.
These rooms have tea and coffee facilities, full amenities including WiFi and TV, and include free coach parking.

Hotel Accomodation

Leumeah Lodge has 60 beautifully appointed hotel rooms in 6 different configurations, plus a self-contained apartment perfect for leisure and corporate travellers.

Ranging from queen rooms to large family rooms, there is a variety of accommodation options to suit anyone visiting Canberra.

Economy Quadruple Rooms

The Economy Quadruple Rooms are perfect for those on a tighter budget. With 4 sets of bunks they can occupy 4 people. These rooms include a mini fridge and linen. They do not include televisions or microwaves.

Two Bedroom Apartment

Our fully-furnished, self-contained 2 bedroom apartment is perfect for those with a longer stay in Canberra where they can really feel at home. This apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The apartment is made up of 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed and bunk bed, 2 bathrooms, a lounge space and a fully equipped kitchen. We also offer free parking.

Family Plus Room

Catering for larger families or groups of friends, the Family Plus Room can accommodate up to 6 guests. Rooms contain a king split bed and 2 sets of bunks. These rooms have full amenities, TV and free parking.

Queen Room

This room accommodates up to 2 people in a queen bed. These rooms have full amenities, TV and free parking.

Accessible Family Room

Our family rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests with a queen bed and 2 singles. These rooms are accessibility friendly and offer full amenities, TV and free parking,

Twin Room

Our spacious twin rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 queen beds. These rooms have full amenities, TV and free parking.

Facilities

Group Facilities and Services

• Leumeah Lodge offers full meal packages including breakfast, lunch and dinner and can add in morning and afternoon tea, and supper. We cater to any dietary requirements and are an allergy aware facility.
• CCTV cameras are positioned around the site and the lodge is attended by nightly security guards.
• 2 common areas are available for use by groups. These rooms have AV equipment and comfortably seat up to 120 people. The rooms are subject to availability.
• All supervisors are given access to the free WiFi, as well as adult meal options at dinner and staff-made coffee with breakfast.
• Situated near many great attractions, Leumeah is located in the heart of Gold Creek Village, close to public transport and a short drive to Canberra’s national attractions and wine regions.

Hotel Facilities and Services

• Our guests are provided with free WiFi access.
• While we do not offer dining for our hotel guests, we do have the option for a continental breakfast box which can be arranged on check-in. Fees apply.
• Our reception is open from 9am-5m Monday to Friday, and our weekend and public holiday hours are flexible subject to business demands. An after hours emergency number is provided upon check in.

Visiting Canberra

Leumeah Lodge is located within Canberra’s Gold Creek Tourist Precinct which has plenty of options to keep everyone entertained. Delight children at Cockington Green Gardens, take a trip back in time to a prehistoric era at the National Dinosaur Museum or grab some food at the one of the cafe’s or restaurants in the area.

You can also get up close with feathery friends at the Walk-In Bird Aviary, or if you prefer something with scales you could visit the Canberra Reptile Zoo.

If you want a bit of an artistic afternoon, a visit to the Aarwun Gallery with heritage treasures and some of Canberra’s leading artists might be just up your alley.

There are plenty of food options in the area too, ranging from the Lolly Shop or Adore Tea, through to Cafe Injoy or the George Harcourt Inn.
