Giralang
At our Giralang Outside Hours School Care, we provide care and activities for children on both a permanent and casual basis. This includes both before and after school care during the term.
We work with families to provide your child and their peers a safe space before and after school to allow them to continue to develop, socialise and enjoy themselves. Our programs are designed with a focus on children having fun while they learn new skills, make new friends and have new experiences. We are proud to be an inclusive centre and believe in the power of inspired children, families and educators. Our programs cater for children with special needs and we regularly meet with Giralang Primary School representatives to foster a common approach to areas of common interest. Our Giralang programs operate out of the Giralang Primary School on Canopus Crescent, a convenient and central location perfect for families on Canberra’s inner North.

Safeguarding Children & Young People
The Y Canberra Giralang OSHC Service is independently reviewed by the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) to ensure that our services are safe for all children and young people.
The ACF ‘Independently Reviewed’ stamp is a sign of assurance that the Y is a safe place for your children and young people.
