The Y Jamison Early Learning Centre is a warm, welcoming environment where children can trulybe children—playing, discovering, exploring, and embarking on exciting adventures every day.
Our homely atmosphere fosters strong community connections, ensuring families feel supported and included. Families are an integral part of our centre, contributing to the vibrant and supportive culture that makes The Y Jamison feel like a thriving community.
At The Y Jamison ELC, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Older and younger children interact, learn from each other, and grow together, building empathy, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. With an indoor gym and an outdoor area with lots of natural elements, it’s a place where children can challenge themselves and experience the joy of being active.
We’re proud to have acook on-site, providing delicious, nutritious meals that fuel the children for all this active play and learning. Our team includes three dedicated Early Childhood Teachers, alongside a group of caring, professional educators who nurture curiosity and growth. At The Y Jamison ELC, children thrive in an environment where learning is hands-on, relationships are meaningful, and every day is filled with new discoveries.
Playing in the gym is not only highlight of the children’s day, it also signals The Y Jamison Early Learning Centre’s commitment to children’s health and wellness. The children get to climb, jump and run in the gym, but we also have more mindful moments where we practice yoga and meditation. The gym is one of the many ways we ensure we have a holistic approach to learning and growth.
Our Jamison Early Learning Centre offers an environment full of enrichment and growth opportunities. As part of the Y Canberra Region community, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with each other, our community, the children and their families.
Every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, discover and connect.
