The Canberra Region Y is made up of dedicated and skilled volunteers, members and staff who oversee our strategic direction and operations to ensure alignment with The Y’s mission and values.

At the Y Canberra Region, we are committed to fostering a culture characterised by:

Our corporate governance is overseen by an independent Board of Directors comprised of skilled and experienced individuals. Additionally, our management and staff are qualified, skilled, and experienced in their respective fields. Our Y Constitution amplifies youth voices by embedding a Youth Representative Group (YRG) advisory sub-committee within its governance model to advise the Board on important organisational and community matters.

As a heritage not-for-profit organisation, we honour our current and past life members and are deeply grateful to the generations of community members, volunteers, and leaders who have supported the Y Canberra Region since our founding in 1941.
