At The Y Kambah, we recognise childhood as a unique and precious stage of life. Our aim is to support each child’s development in a holistic and unhurried manner, allowing them to flourish at their own pace.

Our outdoor spaces are designed to connect children with the natural world.

Through intentional role modelling, we nurture a deep respect for plants, animals and the land.

We are committed to providing a learning environment that is thoughtfully resourced with natural, reusable, recyclable and open-ended materials, encouraging curiosity, imagination, and sustainable practices.

Facilities

Our Kambah Early Learning Centre offers an environment full of enrichment and growth opportunities. As part of the Y Canberra Region community, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with each other, our community, the children and their families.

Every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, discover and connect. And our centre encourages self-directed learning and embracing our connection to the land with our extensive outdoor area.

The centre has 7 rooms, and with our educator to child ratios in place to enable the best learning experience for the children, we can accommodate up to 109 children.

At The Y Canberra Region safeguarding is embedded in our organisational culture.
