Paddle Hub

Be active, stay connected

Open seasonally from October – April. Group bookings only

The YMCA Paddle Hub is Canberra’s first stand up paddle board and kayak hire service, and is located on the beautiful Lake Burley Griffin at Yarralumla Bay. There really is no better spot to be in Canberra with great views of the lake and Black Mountain Tower.

Have you ever wanted to try kayaking or stand up paddle boarding? Or maybe you just enjoy being out on the lake? Put together a group of 10 people or more, and join us on the lovely Lake Burley Griffin for a paddle!

We cater to groups and events, birthday parties, Christmas parties and corporate events.

Safeguarding children and young people

At The Y Canberra Region safeguarding is embedded in our organisational culture. We are dedicated to providing safe, inclusive environments where children and young people are respected, protected and heard. Our commitment is demonstrated through the implementation of well-defined Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and procedures, ongoing staff training to identify and mitigate risks and a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse or neglect. We actively partner with families and children to ensure they feel empowered to raise concerns with confidence, and we fulfil all legal obligations to report and respond to any matters related to safety or welfare.
